Sarah saw an HHFT patient at home on Remembrance Sunday. He was Scottish, he loved the bagpipes but was imminently dying. Sarah knew a friend across the road that played the bagpipes. She arranged for him to play at the patient’s window. The patient and family were overwhelmed by her thoughtfulness and it meant so much to the patient and his family to hear and see the gentleman playing the bagpipe in full attire. Sarah really went out of her way for this dying man.
