I would like to nominate all of the above for an award, they were all involved in investigating a break-in at my parents’ home, everyone named deserves to be recognised and thanked for their participation and support, each one is a credit to the police force.

My elderly parents (82+86) were staying at my home for the Christmas period, during this time their garage/workshop was broken into. The support, help and advice they have received since from the above named officers has been truly amazing.

Naturally this incident has unsettled them both and sadly left them with a fear of repercussion, however the care and compassion they have received via visits and phone calls has helped dissipate this a little. I also must mention the wonderful alarm for the door and a fake TV simulator which was brought by PC Neil Turnbull on his last visit which have also helped ease their minds and I’m hopeful in time they will once again feel happy and comfortable in their own home.

In a world where we are always ready to complain and moan I think it is equally important to show our appreciation and say thank you, my parents are very grateful for all the support they have received and I will be forever indebted to these officers for what they have done to help my parents through what has been a very difficult and frightening time.

So once again, a huge and heartfelt thank you to you all.
