I spoke to James Singer on Saturday 5th September 15, regarding computers, as I urgently needed to buy a new one. I had checked Which? reviews and found a computer on your site which seemed to be a good price for me. Great review, and great price! I am housebound, so rely on a computer for virtually all of my shopping, and to keep contact with my sister via skype as examples. As a consequence of being on illness related benefits, this expenditure is a really big deal for me, it was money I to go into savings to fund. … Continue reading
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to nominate someone.
Please take the time to read some of the recent nominations the organisations we are working with have received. These employees have been nominated by their customers for The WOW! Awards.
Liz runs an enormously busy diary with many meetings and appointments as Executive Assistant to the Dean. The Dean was appointed to the Pro Vice Chancellor (International) position that significantly increased his meetings, appointments and range of people reporting to him. There has been almost no professional support for this new role. Liz stepped in and organised the meetings required for the PVC’s new role and took over all the administrative activities set up meetings in the International Office, liaised with outside bodies including an international group of universities that have regular face to face and electronic meetings amongst other … Continue reading
I would like to nominate Lisa for really going over and beyond what she had to do for me. I spoke to numerous UU employees, repeatedly telling them that the bill should have never have been in my name; not to mention the court judgement (I am in the process of applying for my first mortgage, so as you can appreciate, this was extremely stressful). During this process, I must have spoken with half a dozen different call workers. Some of the advice I was given included going direct to the courts to dispute a third party appeal, purchasing the … Continue reading
She hasn’t been with us very long but has made a big impact on our surroundings. You say its more than bricks and mortar- well it is. Before she came we didn’t see much of the manager – Sharon Bowen takes an interest in us and she understands what its like to be old. There are several of us newly bereaved; and whether it is one year ago or 10 years ago, we still struggle. Mostly our husbands sorted out finances and day to day living and Sharon understood this. She didn’t pry into our affairs but had Age UK … Continue reading
I am writing to nominate Andrea Wolczenko-Brown for some outstanding customer service. There is currently a problem with security at the bin store which has been broken into by a vagrant who has set up home in the space. In the absence of the block manager, Sandip Desai, Andrea has straightaway taken the initiative to sort this problem out herself by instructing the various contractors; ensuring that they do the necessary work; and keeping in close contact with me both by email and phone so that i know what is going on. With the vagrant now becoming aggressive, Andrea has … Continue reading
Officer Autumn Wright responded to a theft report that I filed on behalf of my 91 yr.old father, Donald Ritter. He had recently moved to an assisted living apartment and discovered that his WWII metals were missing. My father is a very proud WWII Navy veteran and wore these metals on a jacket every Veterans Day. The jacket with the metals was taken from his closet. He was devastated by the loss and he discovered from talking to fellow residents that others had valuables missing from their apartments as well. Officer Wright was diligent in her efforts to find the … Continue reading
Because of her help when I was ill. She and her husband took me to the doctor, then the hospital and stayed with me until a bed was found on their day off (Sunday). They fetched me and brought me home. Gill checks on me especially when she’s not on duty. Gill is Gill, always helpful. Gill Gill is always cheerful She never makes a fuss Even if she’s poorly She still takes care of us When I was very poorly Earlier this year She and Graham took me To the hospital and what’s clear Is her helpful caring nature … Continue reading
My wife and I experienced a real disaster that effectively meant a lot of our 4 bed detached house was destroyed and had to be repaired from it’s basic structure. Having never made a claim before we knew nothing of the process and as you might appreciate a lot of things were overwhelming at the time. That was on 2nd January 2015 and we were so lucky to be assigned to Sarah May as our loss adjustor. Her professionalism, compassion and wish to help us through a very difficult time was outstanding. She helped me understand the whole process. She … Continue reading
We feel so lucky to have Zak as a Head Concierge at our Kew Riverside Development. He is always so cheerful, friendly and so reliable. He is always ready to help or find a solution, it’s never too much for him. Last week there was a suspicious man walking around our development and knocking on our doors, asking strange questions like if the owners were in or if there was anyone else in the house. I spoke to Zak and I said it might be nothing, but he immediately got his jacket on and was out to check that man. … Continue reading
I attend the CBA building in DQ regularly (once or twice a week) and while they have significantly tightened their security standards causing many people frustration, Manish is always helpful and friendly and smoothes things through to make the process so easy. After only a couple of visits he started not only addressing me by name, but provides insights to the discussions he has had with my clients and all necessary arrangements to ensure my business runs smoothly. He is genuinely friendly and helpful and maintains very high stadnards of proessionalism, appearance and courtesy – a model for how to … Continue reading
